Yes it is Valentines day so don't expect a lengthy post.
Tonight marks the final game of the regular season for both the Dawson Creek Jr. Canucks (20-12-2) and the Peace River Navigators (20-13-1) and it couldn't possibly mean more. Win and you have 3rd place and a first round date with the Beaverlodge Blades. Lose and you play Slave Lake and most likely Whitecourt in round 2.
With that being said, the Canucks have owned the Navs so far this season and Peace River has not been playing too well as of late. I'm really looking forward to it. I'm doing a little work on the broadcast at the moment and then it's out for a romantic dinner. We'll chat during broadcast (DGS Astro Paving Jr. Canucks pre-game show at 7:45pm MST; puck drop at 8:00pm MST on Peace FM).
See you at the rink!
