The Chetwynd NBIC girls hockey team hosted a 3 team tournament this past weekend at the Chetwynd and District Recreation Centre. The following report was submitted by the Chetwynd Echo's Max Fawcett:

They (Chetwynd) lost the final 4-3 to Fort Nelson, even though they won every other game they played. Rough luck for them. They beat FN twice, too, before the final. Top scorer in the tournament for Chetwynd was Marlee Martens, and their goalie Brooke Walker played a hell of a tournament.
