SAN JOSE, Calif. -- One of the great agitators in NHL history, Claude Lemieux signed a professional tryout contract with the San Jose Sharks, according to the San Jose Mercury News.
The 43-year-old, who has not played in an NHL game since 2002-03, is expected to report to Worcester of the AHL.
He has won the Stanley Cup with three different teams and the Conn Smythe Trophy in 1995.
