Blades 5 Hitmen 0

The Calgary Hitmen came up with a dull effort in a 5-0 Western Hockey League loss to the Saskatoon Blades at the Credit Union Centre on Tuesday night.

Stefan Elliott had a goal and three assists to lead the Blades.

Adam Morrison made 29 saves - Calgary outshot Saskatoon 15-6 in the first period - to record the shutout.

Marek Viedensky, Duncan Siemens, Brent Benson and Jake Trask also scored for the Blades.

The Hitmen will rest today before resuming their season-high seven-game road trip against the Swift Current Broncos on Thursday.
