SWAC

Conf. 3
Swan Valley @ Sacred Heart
Lumsden @ Fort Qu'Appelle

-----

This week is jammed full of potentially spectacular games. There are a few games that could be dubbed "game of the week."

How about the match up of Maple Creek and Shaunavon? The Shadows' defence hasn't allowed a single point against through two games while Maple Creek has also gone 2-0.

Swan Valley @ Sacred Heart is another potential gem. These two teams appear to be much improved on last season and that is scary for the rest of the conference. Swan Valley went 4-1 last year so improving on that will be a tough task. The Saints, however went 2-3 and appear well on their way to turn that around. The interesting thing in this conference will be how the teams match up with Lumsden. The juggernaut appears to be the class of the league but it will be quite the battle for those 2 provincial berths.

Friday we see Foam Lake playing Humboldt in the rematch of last year's provincial final. Now that game was a bit lopsided on the scoreboard but early this season they remain poised to see each other again come November. Tomorrow afternoon's tilt is shaping up to be a dandy. This is SaskGridiron.com's GAME OF THE WEEK.

The game of the week could be any one of these games and that will make watching football this week a ton of fun.
