=====
Tonight is game two of the best of 5 opening round NWJHL playoff series between the Dawson Creek Jr. Canucks and the Grande Prairie Wheelers. The series is tied at one game a piece after the Wheelers got the split in Dawson Creek. The scene now shifts to Grande Prairie for games 3 and 4 (tonight and Friday).
Dawson Creek dominated game 2 outshooting the Wheelers 44-22 (10 GP shots came in the third) and winning 3-0. It was a huge turnaround from game 1 in which the Canucks were taking bad penalties at bad times and it cost them.
Dawson Creek went 1-1-1 in Grande Prairie during the regular season and 1-1 at home so this tight series that we've seen can be expected.
Game three goes tonight.
I'll chat with you over the airwaves from Grande Prairie!
