FORT ST JOHN -- For the second consecutive game the Dawson Creek Jr Canucks took one on the chin. The Fort St John Huskies scored four times on the power play en route to a 7-3 win on Friday night.
Newcomer Cam McKinnon had four goals and added a helper in his Huskie debut and the pups were backed by a strong preformance from goaltender Zachery Blain. In the loss Carl Dahlen had a pair of goals for the Canucks and Nathan Bomben added a single.
The Canucks power play went 1 for 7 while the Huskies were 4 for 9. Brass Scissors three stars: 1) McKinnon 2) Blain 3) Dahlen

Jordan Shipton vs Lewis Weaver: decision goes to Weaver.
John Howes vs Jason Arnousse: Howes earns the decision.
Lorne Weaver vs Brian Gilbert: Not much of a fight. Draw.
Daniel Pappin vs Tyson Stefanyk: Pappin with the victory
Cam McKinnon vs Reid Smith: Victory goes to Smith.

After being outscored 15-6 in two games the Canucks are glad to see the weekend and a bit of a break. I'll post more tomorrow after I digest a bit more of what I saw.
