The Saskatoon Hilltops are Prairie Football Conference Champions.
The Toppers defeated the Regina Thunder 32-24 at Gordie Howe Bowl Sunday afternoon. The Toppers forced the Thunder into 5 turnovers, including the opening kick-off but it was the home team that had to come from behind for the win.
After giving up a pair of touchdowns in 57 seconds, the Hilltop offence marched the ball down the field in the fourth quarter scoring on a 12 yard Brendan Gryba run to retake the lead at 29-24 a lead that they would never relinquish.
Saskatoon will now play the Vanvouver Island Raiders in the Canadian Bowl Noveber 13th in Saskatoon.
