Back in business!

The blog is back up an I'll be posting more frequently than I have as of late.

Late last night (or early this morning, however you see it) I posted that the nearly 4 and a half hour marathon had just completed and I was off to bed. With that ends the first ever CFL Fantasy Football Draft.

There were 8 teams in total that took part in the draft that took 4 hours 20 minutes to complete. The teams competing for $800 for their football program are:

Wynyard Bears
Foam Lake Panthers
Esterhazy Warriors
Assiniboia Rockets
Tisdale Tornadoes
Melville Cobras
Meadow Lake Spartans
Lumsden Devils

Let the games begin!

The SasKota Bowl takes place one week from today in Lumsden, SK and is going to be there. Expect an announcement later today on the full extent of our involvement in the game.

I'll tell you this much, I'm very excited!

I'm spending my summer with the Saskatchewan Golf Association and so far it's been a treat. On Sunday I'm off to Kenossee for the Saskatchewan Amateur Women's and Mid-Amateur Men's Championships. I'll be there from Sunday-Friday and I can't wait! Let's hope the weather holds up.

Coaches for and players arrive in Lumsden early next week for SasKota Bowl practises ahead of Friday's tilt. The Americans will arrive Thursday night and have a game day walk through on Friday.

I don't want to give away too much info but there are more exciting announcements with to be made in the weeks ahead.

I've got a small list of things to finish up before the weekend. My goal is to finish them early enough to get a round of golf in this afternoon.

Enjoy the weekend!
