Canucks @ Huskies today!

Game time: 2:00pm (peace time)

Broadcast: 1:45pm-pregame show (peace time) 2:00pm-play-by-play (peace time) Peace FM

Last Game:

It was a thriller in Peace River on November 1st as the Canucks battled the Navigators.  In a match-up of two of the league's best the road team came from behind for the victory.

Led by a combined 7 points from Jason Higson (2G 1A) and Charles Radke (2G 2A), the Canucks came from behind twice to beat the Navigators 5-3.  Also scoring for Dawson Creek was Captain Tyson Keen.

The three goaltender carousel continued to spin as Ricky Yamagouchi (sp?) backed up Cody Garnett who started his 9th game of the season.  Tyson York was the odd man out.

The Canucks went 1 for 7 with the extra man while the penalty kill was a perfect 6 for 6.

Head to Head:

There have been just two meetings between these two teams before this afternoon.  Season opening night back on September 20th, the Huskies won 6-5 in overtime while back in Dawson Creek on October 17 the Canucks won 6-2.  Jason Higson had a pair of goals in the win and if he continues his hot play we could see that again.

There were three fights to end the October 17th contest including a great tilt between Reid Smith and Kyle Porter.  A great fight with good shots thrown and Smith earned the decision.  Could we see round two?  We'll wait and see.
